I definitely think weighting the foot section and using an internal structure is the way to go!

But for the Desert Bus Rizzo, I had learned a lot about how to set the legs to hold the weight. He’s much steadier than V2, with polyfill through the ankle and split peas through the foot but I went with thin bamboo as the armature.

For the next Rizzo I used wood inside the leg. I also stuffed the top section through the ankle with polyfill and the foot with split peas to weight the foot. Much better!

The first one I made I only used polyfill but found the thinner ankle section would bend and the feet were too light

This is actually the third Rizzo pattern I have cut out of single Snuggie so a reasonable brown blanket would definitely also work

Ok let’s talk materials - I live somewhere with one frustrating non-quilt fabric store. They of course did not have brown faux fur (or anything similar) but luckily I thrifted a great option - a brown Snuggie. The nap of the washed Snuggie reads very muppet. #DB2025 #DBCraftAlong
