Cornell Lab app "Merlin Bird" identified 8 different singing birds at Gite-Milvain in just a couple of minutes yesterday. Here is the list.

Not sure what this is but the leaves vary from palest green to russet red and the rather sparse white unscented flowers are in open panicles and it's a herbaceous perennial

As a very poor Sunday leaguer, played against Basil, "Snowy" and Vanburn in a fun match - I was out 3x before they stopped buying the "clicky wrist" excuse! Vanburn slowed right down, I still never saw the ball!

one of numerous possible explanations for the "distancing" speech, perhaps, allegedly, or.....

over here, used ev's about 30-40k, similar age (smallish) SUV about 8-12k. Yes, ev's are great but not affordable for us (not rich) invalid pensioners plus, apart from 110k Chinese luxury imports, range too short for e.g. ferry port trips.

on the other hand, AFFORDABLE mobility scooters don't fit into smaller cars, at least not without taking seats out - great for invalid families - NOT! There are plenty of low petrol SUV's and we should alloe their survival while getting rid of huge gas-guzzlers acting as ego-boosters.
