There was this fairly cool period of time between 2007 and 2015 where you could be online and reasonably assume you wouldn’t see a video of someone straight up dying in your regular feeds. I miss that.

A pavlova (a dessert where a cake of meringue is topped with whipped cream and fruit) sits on a lazy Susan. The cherries, strawberries, black plum, mango, banana and kiwi fruit that top the cake are arranged in stripes, lazily gradating the colours from red to green, it might subjectively look neat but the baker involved is a silly goose that can’t get a good slice with all the different fruits now.
I’d somehow never made pavlova before so I thought I’d have a go this year, dropped some shit in the kitchen as it was setting so it collapsed but still really yummo.
