Yeah haha sometimes I wonder if I got bitten by that tick that makes you essentially allergic to red meat or if I just have an inconvenient type of IBS. Haven't even tried to figure it out though, just avoid the foods that set it off.

Yeah the problem with chicken being a great source of protein is that I don't eat chicken lol, I get sick when I have tried to experiment with getting it back into my diet even with bone broth. Red meat makes me very ill, but for whatever reason I can handle turkey gravy if I make it from scratch.

I've been using nuts as a snack and also recently switched back to nut milk instead of cow milk. I'm pretty much just making fish an every day twice a day thing now, even though I really only like to eat it every other day or so.

My mom and dad both said they were prescribed statins and quit taking them because of how horrible they felt, zero energy and muscle pain. Then a new one I heard is my dad said they almost killed my grandpa, assume because it was hard on his liver. Probably this type is not for me lol

Yeah I'm starting to keep track of stuff on myfitnesspal now. Before I was avoiding cholesterol foods, like the doctor told me. But I don't think my issue is actually directly cholesterol and more that I was avoiding shellfish and eating too much meat substitutes that are low in protein.

How's it going for you so far? I fell asleep a little woozy but it took like 4 hours before I started to feel truly horrible.

-for a couple of hours and my arm is still numb. I fainted outside while feeding the chickens. This is not for me. My triglycerides are what is sky high, which can definitely be due to me overeating carbs right? I'm just going to aggressively control what I eat and exercise. No more of this.

Took my first 10 mg dose of Pravastatin last night and I do believe that will be my last. I had insomnia, woke up in the middle of the night with pain in my left arm severe enough to cry and numbness. Got up and my lips went numb and I started shivering, extremely thirsty. Finally fell back asleep-

They brighten my day whenever I see them. We call all marmots 'chunky butts' lol

The river at the south dam is actually terrifying right now.

I think red macaw colors ARE from their diet right? Macaws don't really have noticeable sexual dimorphism, but I do think the blue is structural. I think blue is almost always a structural color.

With fantasy you can do pretty much any and all of them, especially if you explain it by your fantasy setting having abundant pigments in their food (like how flamingos are pink from eating shrimp) or complex feathers giving them structural colors.

I think originally they were meant to be curving back in space but probably somewhere in the rounds of feedback they started pointing more upward, I guess InGen (me) got that detail wrong in their asset lol

She at least does seem to understand I have it from my family, but it's so frustrating.

Oh yeah I also quit eating peanut butter because most of them have palm oil. I've tried to add in more cholesterol lowering foods and avoid the ones that raise it, but I really only saw meaningful reduction in my levels the first 6 months.

I'm definitely afraid it'll make me horribly tired. Both my parents say they've been prescribed statins before and quit taking them because they had zero energy. And now my dad said something about how one almost killed my grandpa once? Very encouraging.

I did stop being as strict and switched back to cheaper cow milk, but I need to go back to a plant based milk and probably watch how much oil I'm cooking with etc etc exercise more and all that on top of the medication. Maybe then it'll be high normal instead of high lol

Well a whole year of avoiding as much foods with cholesterol that I can (while being pescetarian already) and my test results still have a note to 'reduce beef and pork.' I'd say I am indeed genetically predisposed to having high cholesterol and should go ahead and let her prescribe the medication.
