Finally made the move to switch my phone's OS to GrapheneOS. Pretty well developed, sleek, and good control over apps with no annoying/extra/unnessary pre installed app.

finished the project by building an android app to access it on my phone while I'm connected to my home network as well
my side side project this week was to find a way so I don't have to continuously search my inboxes for various information. ended up over-engineering a solution via a RAG system with Thunderbird add-on fully developed and run on my home server
Command lines, servers, databases, Git, cron jobs, these aren't exclusively data science tools, but they're tools I use every day.
I wrote a short post from my own experience. Might be useful if you're earlier in your career and wondering what the day-to-day really looks like.

Book cover of "Designing Data-Intensive Applications, 2nd edition". It has a similar wild boar on the cover as the first edition, but it uses O'Reilly's new cover design, and the boar is now slightly colourised.
The second edition of Designing Data-Intensive Applications, by myself and @chris.blue, is finished and sent off to the printers! Ebooks should be available in the next week, and print books in 3–4 weeks. Sigh of relief. 😅
