I'll do a potted Raff review soon. Its obviously a DnD hack, but with emphasis on speed, character choice, and reducing DM prep. I was partly sold because it takes a #13thAge style approach to monster starting and keeps the PC spell lists short (both DnD bugbears). Plus it has skill challenges :)

Fun urban investigation. Avoids being linear tho would benefit from a GM's flow-chart.
Some clues don't have written scenes, so prep or improv needed.
GM needs to know all clues/NPCs to foreshadow and adapt to PC actions. So not prep light.
But I'd run it.
#13thAge scenario I'm reading uses Fail Forward in ways not connected to the attempted action.
Action: talk to person for clue
Failure: person was being watched, villain gets a buff
The villain is only watching if the PCs fail a social roll: it's a quantum spy.

Thinking about currency in #13thAge
The 2e rulebooks strongly discourage bean counting, while this 1e adventure has lots of random cash loot.
Strikes me you could just give every PC a standard of living background skill. Something to roll when bribing or buying something unusual
