#15U now moving towards the coast. South Townsville Alert has already recorded 61mm in the last hour.

The BoM have issued a severe weather warning, isolated daily totals up to *500mm*. Major flooding expected.

This will be the most significant event since historic 2019 flood, perhaps even more so.

While #15U is not expected to become a TC, all models in agreement on *significantly* more rain to come in NE QLD- but they disagree on location.
