Such a strong album opener, with the incredibly assertive guitar-and-piano instrumental contrasting with the soft vocal melody. Once the vocal harmony kicked in, I fell in love with the track.

Yoshizawa sings beautifully, as she always does - but the stars here are the cello and piano, which duet beautifully to support her. I desperately want sheet music for this piece.

Simple, intensely catchy opening riff paired with a super-slinky lead vocal and meticulous production choices. It's impossible not to move your body to this, or at least it is for me.

I love the production on this - the big block chords, the violin riffs, that warm digital piano. It's one of my favourite performances from Utaha to date. Her lightness coming into the chorus is perfect.

LB’s debut, “Black Acid Soul”, defined a genre space. SS leans in, with sprawling arrangements, a fantastic jazz groove, and powerhouse vocals. She should be bigger than she is imo.

Dreamy, retro indie pop, guitar and piano-led. Some interesting arrangements but the star is Kobayashi's voice, which is soft, sweet, and very expressive.
