On #Day19 of the #25DaysOfChristmasCountdown, a holiday themed investigative crime show on @Hallmark Channel , #MistletoeMurders. Not saying the show is good, but more so that it is ridiculous in the best ways and probably one of the network's better productions. 3.5/5💻

On #Day18 of the #25DaysOfChristmasCountdown, a British comedy miniseries, #ManVsBaby. Starring Rowan Atkinson doing his whole physical comedy shtick, the show consists of four episode in which the holiday themes and heartwarming elements far outrank the intended humor. 3/5👶🏻

For #Day17 of the #25DaysOfChristmasCountdown, a Norwegian series on Netflix. This could have been a great series had it not been for a specific, significant plot point across the show. Maybe it is cultural differences or something, but just brought the show down for me. 2/5⛸️

On #Day16 of the #25DaysOfChristmasCountdown, a stoner comedy sequel parody(?), #ItsAWonderfulBinge. While mostly a meh movie, there are a few moments of levity and laughter to be found especially if you partake while viewing. Otherwise, not really one to seek out, not sober anyways. 3/5🍃🌬

For #Day15 of the #25DaysOfChristmasCountdown, a Netflix original holiday special, #WithLoveMeghanHolidayCelebration. I have no beef whatsoever concerning Mrs. Markle. That being said, this special felt very manufactured & inauthentic even with the high production quality. 3/5🗓

On #Day11 of the #25DaysOfChristmasCountdown, the first horror/slasher film of the season, #TheMeanOne. Not sure if saying this is the best of the "popular IP goes public turned into a Horror film for profit" niche genre is a compliment, but it is. By a wide margin. Still not great just better. 3/5💔

For #Day10 of the #25DaysOfChristmasCountdown, a Lifetime original, #HolidayInSantaFe. While I am always one for representation, it's also FUCK Mario Lopez on sight, always. Besides, other than the Latin representation, it's a pretty generic holiday romcom. 1/5🏜

On #Day9 of the #25DaysOfChristmasCountdown, a pretty paint-by-numbers, standard Hallmark-esque holiday romcom, but with a queer twist, #LookingForHer. Am I going to give this one more of a pass solely because it has a queer focus? Abso-fucking-lutely. Need more queer stories, in fact. 4/5👩🏼‍❤️‍💋‍👩🏻

For #Day8 of the #25DaysOfChristmasCountdown, #JustLikeAChristmasMovie. This attempts to be a parody/satire of all the clichés and tropes of modern Christmas romcoms but just ends up being a carbon copy of said films. Mildly entertaining but mostly just meh. 2.5/5🎬

For #Day7 of the #25DaysOfChristmasCountdown, another Netflix Holiday original, #MySecretSanta. The two leads are too good for this movie. They don't phone it in but neither are putting in 100%. Do appreciate the old school feel of protagonist basically committing fraud under the guise of good. 2/5🎅

For #Day6 of the #25DaysOfChristmasCountdown, the @primevideobrasil.bsky.social holiday original, #OhWhatFun. Easily one of the best casts for one of the most mediocre of films. You can clearly see what better films it is trying to emulate, but a bland script makes for a just okay film. 3/5🕯

For #Day4 of the #25DaysOfChristmasCountdown, #AVeryJonasChristmasMovie. I am not the target audience for this film in any way, shape, or form. That being said, if you are a fan of the Jonas Bros., I can definitely see the appeal of this one. Definitely one for the fans. 3.5/5🛬

On #Day3 of the #25DaysOfChristmasCountdown, the 3rd @netflix Holiday film for this year, #JingleBellHeist. Probably the best of the Netflix Holiday originals of this year though that is a low bar to pass. Olivia Holt is the best part of this movie, unsurprisingly so. 3.5/5💷

For #Day2 of the #25DaysOfChristmasCountdown, another @netflix film, #ChampagneProblems. While still a "paint-by-numbers" holiday rom-com that is basically copying the Hallmark model, it is nowhere near as annoying as yesterday's film. Pleasantly watchable, in fact, mostly due to Minka Kelly. 2.5/5🍾

Let the #25DaysOfChristmasCountdown begin! For #Day1, one of the worst movies I have ever seen for the holidays. #AMerryLittleExMas on Netflix has bad acting, bad dialogue, bad story, and one of the most toxic relationships in a Christmas movie. Just a shit film all the way through. 1/5🎄
