No clear frameworks for air or water in #25YEP - there is a risk that there could be a race to the bottom across the four nations. Although with #Brexit, the EU will specify its own green lines, but UK should do so too, around net environmental gain @CommonsEAC
#25YEP largely a plan for England, but contingent on the establishment of UK-wide frameworks - ironic that it will now need to set up its own multi-level frameworks after #Brexit and can learn from the EU in this process
Comparison with EU's 7th Environmental Action Programme - this has shorter-term targets and is regularly updated so ensures that we deal with more immediate priorities, whereas UK #25YEP focuses on long-term ones @CommonsEAC
