The point-of-view of this bright blue sky photo of Oregon is of leading lines stretching away northward across the image to where it meets the Pacific Ocean and the green headland at the horizon. At the end of the headland, a white lighthouse sits as a beacon. In silhouette, a line of trees mark the spine of a hill on the headland. A long line of white clouds runs parallel above the white breakers of the blue ocean on one side of the vast sandy beach. With a footpath, beach scrub vegetation and residential properties on the near side, together they make a wide open vista that beckons the viewer to come on in and enjoy one of Oregon’s protected natural treasures. Dotted across the stretched sands are people doing just that - walking, playing, relaxing - building memories, and leaving temporary footprints.
