In this workshop, several people and groups (including Patriarkraakt and Emancipator) come together who work on transforming masculinity norms leading to all kinds of harmful behavior like gender inequality, boundary crossing behavior and fascism. We host an interactive conversation on how transforming masculinities helps preventing violent behaviors and politics, and how it offers hope in a darkening world.

I want to speak about the thorny subject of desire, especially in its relationship with politics and power. Although we generally think of civilisation as a process of repression of desires, it's clear that what actually happens is a much more productive process (think of the things capitalism convinces you to want!).
