I just watched Run Silent, Run deep for the first time and the seasoned captain pulling strings to replace the hoping-to-be-promoted commander echoes the Decker/Kirk relationship so closely in ST:TMP. No surprise, I guess, as Robert Wise directed both! #startrek #runsilentrundeep #2silent2deep
