Culture of the car propped up—mightily—by oil&gas lobby who own our politicians. Get corp money out of politics (Citizens United) and make corps and the wealthy pay taxes to support the infrastructure for cities and states they crawl for consumers.

Problem in America is taxes are not being paid by corporations and the wealthy and politicians are owned by big money, especially oil&gas lobby. It’s lazy to heap more vitriol on the American ppl who are simply trying to survive a govt who has betrayed us for 50+ yrs.

Completed rigorous civics program enables ppl to actually participate in deciding how they are governed. Town halls where the people are the speakers and discourse makers. Carrot before stick governance. Not all ppl could do it, but most could.

A speaker should learn from a crowd reaction whether or not they like it. She had at least 2 platforms to express herself—the podium and the reporter. The People don’t have that luxury and must work to be heard. It’s not disrespectful; it’s expression.✌🏾
