I don't know if this fits the bill or not. The sunlight caught by the bricks, revealing their texture which is invisible on the rest of the wall in the shade, seemed like an example of negative space to me. It's a cool shot either way.

Week 9 - Children

Week 1: Shadow

Most of Week 1's days had cloudy or snowy weather, but just before dusk on New Year's Day, I noticed sunlight streaming through the windows of my parents' bedroom. This image of Mom's dragon figurine became an instant favorite.
