In the fallout from the #StaviskyAffair, the head of the Paris #police (a noted #anticommunist) was sacked, so on #ThisDayInHistory in 1934 the #6FebruaryCrisis saw #FarRight groups rally in a half-hearted coup attempt & riot. Police killed 17 of the rioters and the pm resigned.
