It looks to me like an over-priced SoC running an emulator. With FPGA at least the chipset behavior would be close to authentic (an emulator is essentially just a simulator that serializes the parallel behavior).

Finally figured the best way to get my #Amiga Workbench 1.3 install working reliably on the AmigaKit #A600GS. Using an HDF file resulted in nothing but disk errors. Time to do a video on my experience!
