(Book review, 1/2) The Chase & Letting Go Liev "Overlord" King and Grace "Rosebud" Dubois are an exciting couple. I love the primal aspects that bring them together and how they are drawn to each other without realizing why. Male Primal Hunter seeks Female Prey for a one-time, anonymous hunt. No faces. No names. No repeats. This message that brings them together is hot and tempting, even for someone who's not keen on being chased in the woods at night by a stranger. 🔥🥵 -- Book quote: I follow it, deeper into this thing that’s not anonymous, that’s not one-time. That’s not ending with a clean, easy break. I follow it because, right now, right here, this light is the only thing I have. -- Liev King

(Book review, 2/2) There are several fantastic supporting characters. Lamé and the Perkins are amongst my faves! They bring plenty of laughter to the mix. I rarely comment on covers, even if they do attract or detract me, but this one is a keeper. It fits the energy of the book, especially Grace and Liev. I read and listened to the audio book. The narrators are Tor Thom and Chloe Ryan. I like both narrators, I do, but duet is best for them. Either acting out (or however you refer to it for audio) their non-principle MC wasn't always consistent with the vibe provided by the other narrator. It wasn't horrible, but it was noticeable. Also, the pronunciation of Lamé was inconsistent. I think it should be lah-MAY (or luh-MAY), as in gold lamé. Story: 4 stars Narration: 3.5 stars Listening Speed: 1.75x H = 33; h = 27
