I have never written poetry in my life but #Achaea makes me want to learn more about poetry and I've written some in-character poems! :P

There are news boards in the game, and one is the "poetry" board, so that's where the kind of poetry-based gossip is. ;)

I've added a blue frame around the game window, there's a little sprite portrait of my character, some text labels with information about 'em, gauges and icons along the bottom.

Moved my Mudlet profile to my Ubuntu-Chromebook, working on my custom GUI stuff.

[Video game drunk and naughty word]

My character was drinking at the duck pond with her friends in #Achaea and when you're drunk it warps the spelling of things you say.

I asked about biscuits.

Uhhh today in #Achaea a God appeared before my character and another youngish person and was like "what are your goals?" and "what's stopping you from achieving them??" And it wasn't even my city's patron God it was the God of Bards and I ain't no bard. :T

Boating in #Achaea #MUD
(Second half shows the "animation".)

The map screen shows a big blue square, with a little colorful equal sign to denote one ship, and another to denote a second one. The chat says, "OK, that's me right next to you, but I forgot hookshot, I'm getting some mailed." I responded "Wow, the mail can get out here..."

In #Achaea #MUD :
Someone took me sailing on their boat, then I got stranded on an ensnared boat, and I've been stranded for [in-game] days waiting for a rescue, and now the guy forgot some hookshots. 😢

So in #Achaea #MUD there are several city-states:

- Ashtan - Worships chaos?

- Cyrene - Art hub but worships water god now

- Eleusis - Trees and dryads

- Hashan - PROGRES, secrets, and anti-zealotry

- Mhaldor - Evil

- Targossas - Zealots

Anyway that's my relatively novice level take on 'em.

Today in #Achaea , two player-run events went on: Boats, Booze, and Bears, and then a masquerade later on.

Also I'm so addicted, FOMO is too real. 😭

Yes I attended both, I basically was on for like 10 hours today. 😳

Learned that in #Achaea there is an everglade you can go to and REFLECT, then state

I AM HE
or
I AM SHE
or
I AM FAE

and it changes your pronouns, and it responds "of course you are".

And me myself AND my in game character are very happy to now be nonbinary in the game.

OK well in #Achaea I expressed my frustration to some of the more senior people in town, and they assured me that I can reach out to them and that they wouldn't "let some asshole run you off".

The left pane shows the game happening, I'm just fighting a goblin. I have three purple panes: One has my health and healthbars drawn, other stats, a list of items in the room. A second pane lists all my skills and options. A third pane is mostly empty but I'm adding quick links to it.

#Achaea #MUD update, I've graduated to #Mudlet instead of the Nexus client, and I've been writing Lua helper scripts. (All the purple windows, and the blurry chatbox, is mine!)
