Walked through Koukaki with little shops & bars, shopped in Plaka for souvenirs, climbed up Filopappou Hill. But were drawn again & again to the Parthenon. It really is that magnetic.

Yesterday, during the thunder and lightning storms, the mountain was barely visible but today the whole small 4m population city is laid out in front of you. Look closely and you get a great view of the #Acropolis sweeping down to the Port of #Piraeus and the #AegeanSea to the #Peloponnese mountains
