ACT NOW Dear friends in the US,If you have recently asked yourselves "How much time do we have left to act?", let me answer:none.Why am I so confident about this?Let me tell you about the country I live in,Hungary.A fascist government is ruling the country since 2010, and people voted for them again and again in 4 free elections.Not because they don't know what the government is doing-they know exactly what it is doing.Not because they can't feel it on their own skin-because they can.The standard of living is constantly falling and it affects everyone, even the government's own voter base."But surely there is a point when people will finally wake up?"We've been waiting for that point for 15 years, and so far the vast majority of people have put up with everything the government has done-and a lot of people support it."Darkness is greatest before the dawn" - well, the dawn in this country is very reluctant to arrive.We have waited too long, so long that we can no longer do anything about the government within a democratic framework. They have changed the laws in 15 years to consolidate their power and silence and destroy anyone who speaks out against them.It didn't start with big changes, small changes in the law, changed rules, "trusted" people being put here and there, but eventually all the little things added up.Now they are not afraid to defy the EU's core values, to violate basic human rights if necessary.The government openly supports the mass murderer Putin, I think that says a lot.Learn from our mistakes, my friends!There is no such thing as a small thing when it comes to laws. Do not leave anything unspoken, take action, stop the dictatorshipby all legal means before it is too late. I see the same government actions in your country that have happened in ours in 15 years.The difference is in the speed, what took a decade in our country can happen in 2 weeks in yours.That's why you don't have time to wait and see what happens, that's why you have to act now.
