At #AFS154 in Honolulu, Past President Cecil Jennings announced that the Meritorious Service Award has been renamed as the "Doug Austen Meritorious Service Award," with retiring Executive Director Doug Austen as the first recipient. Austen was also honored by being named as an AFS Fellow.
