I have a major problem with my #AFragranceADay project, which I planned to do while waiting for #ATeeShirtADay weather. My son is super sensitive to all fragrances and absolutely hates me wearing anything smelly. So I try to sneak one in on days I'm away. Today: Issey Miyake Pour Homme Intense.

It's been a while since #ATeeShirtADay, so here's one. And my #AFragranceADay is Jimmy Choo's I Want Choo.

#AFragranceADay My new year bargain (70% off), just arrived - L'Eau D'Issey Pour Homme Intense EDT. Massive bottle (125ml). Odd and intriguing. Very spicy with a hint of herby incense and old wardrobes, top notes supposed to be citrus but I don't get that at all. I think I'm going to love it.

It's been a while since #AFragranceADay so today I'm wearing Neroli Woods by Banana Republic, mainly because it was at the front of the shelf.

#AFragranceADay Jimmy Choo, I Want Choo. This was a 2ml sample from when it was launched. It's pleasant enough, fruity and sweet. Too sweet for my base nature. Sorry Jim.

#AFragranceADay Giorgio Armani Si EDP. Another that I would never have bought for myself and have no idea why it's in my house. Not my style at all, bright and exuberant and fruity.

#AFragranceADay Chanel Allure. A lot of people seem to have a particular Chanel fragrance they think of as "theirs", and this is mine. It's bold and kind of fruity and jammy with a hint of spice, just right for today's group Christmas lunch.

#AFragranceADay Le Pamplemousse by Miller Harris. Not so much grapefruit as grapefruit-tree. Leafy and sunshiney but with some astringency.

#AFragranceADay Today, one of my all time favourites and I think the first I ever bought that made me think "inexpressibly weird". It's Ninfeo Mio EDT by Annick Goutal, from the days before they were just Goutal. It's kind of bitter and herbal and not at all twee or feminine. Refreshing.

#AFragranceADay Jimmy Choo, L'Eau EDT. This was chosen for me by a friend - there were two Jimmy Choos on offer and I actually preferred the other, but she said this one was "nicer" . Which it is, but I am not a nice person, I like dark and mysterious. But I bought it, so now I have to wear it.

#AFragranceADay Aegean Rose by M&S. With notes of mandarin, plum, peony and sandalwood. Honestly, I am a pushover for anything with sandalwood because of Lan Zhan.

#AFragranceADay Miss Dior EDP . Unfortunately mostly masked by the wintergreeny scent of the muscle rub I put on my aching back this morning.
