I ❤️ a captivating villain and #WangDuo always delivers. He first caught my attention in The Yin-Yang Master: Dream of Eternity and then in #ALeagueofNobleman. I chase his dramas now cuz he had me completely hooked in #TheBlossomingLove. #cdrama

Lan Peizhi, Gu Qingzhang and Zhang Ping, all stuck on the cottagecore island together with no boat and no other way to leave. Someone's full of secrets; someone *had* a plan; someone just wrecked that plan for perfectly logical reasons. #ALeagueOfNobleman

Completed the #cdrama #ALeagueOfNobleman. I'm glad I finally watched this one. It had good acting and a good storyline.

Did they just HeteroNuke him at last minute? Over 20hrs of story and with 7 minutes left in the entire drama, they slide a dead wife and a son in there! That just bizarro'd up the whole drama! 😵💫

He is so pretty with his hair down. I'm so used to Officials constantly having their hair up, and I think this is one of the few characters as an Official I've seen who wears his hair down often, even when not readying for bed. Plus I appreciate the natural sideburns.

Decided to start the #cdrama #ALeagueOfNobleman.
It took me a minute to realize the MC is Song WeiLong. For some reason he looks quite different to me in this one.
A couple of others people who loved #RipeTown seem to recommend are #TheSleuthofMingDynasty & #ALeagueofNobleman (I haven’t seen these either, but I’ve heard very good things about them - like the other dramas mentioned, they involve sleuthing out the masterminds behind murder & corruption)
Current status: unreasonably cross about all the reviews of #ALeagueOfNobleman I read yesterday, while trying to get back up to speed on everything that happens in the series,* that called Song Weilong's performance as Zhang Ping 'wooden'.
Have you heard of ACTING? No? Apparently not. 😠

I just found out that Liu Xueyi was supposed to have a cameo in A League of Nobleman—as Prince Huai, the Emperor's gay uncle!!! It was cut for the obvious reasons. :(
What a disappointment. @liztai our cdrama interests would have overlapped perfectly for once!

My #ALeagueOfNobleman shipping opinion* is that if Wang Yan isn't together with Lan Jue, he should still periodically appear so we can all enjoy how unhappy he is about that.
I mean, he can and should take an active role in the rest of the plot! He's a great character whom I love on his own […]
