The @Vauxhall #Ampera turns 7 years old today. So while y'all get worked up about putting down another deposit it quietly gets on with delivering 241 mpg, 95% battery still remaining, flying through another MOT with just 20% brake wear and no perceivable wear on year-old tyres.

That's 75,000 miles done on the @vauxhall #Ampera - still averaging 244 mpg with 10.3 kWh (97%) from the battery after nearly 7 years. As if to mark the milestone I saw something I haven't seen for a while on the way to work - another Ampera!

That's now 70,000 miles in 6 ¼ years with the @Vauxhall #Ampera, at an average of 249.3 mpg. I make that a saving of more than £20,000 worth of petrol compared to its predecessor.

Today the @Vauxhall #Ampera is 6 years old and hit 67,000 miles on the eve of its birthday. Still giving 242+ mpg and still get 10.6 kWh from the battery (same as new). Still on original brakes and tyres with 5mm tread (contrary to what media reports about "heavy" EVs).
