Yeah, #AGU is a remarkable combination of inspiring. exhilarating, exhausting, and humbling. It and #AmQua have been my most influential meetings... AmQua helped me build my home community, and AGU helped me understand where I fit within the broad domain of Earth sciences.

The Sverdrup (264 million U.S. gallons per second) is probably my favorite unit. #AMQUA

Teller: At 8,400 BP, the LIS was breached in the Hudson Bay basin, and Agassiz overflow was routed to Hudson Strait and Baffin Bay. #AMQUA
Teller: Curry's ostracode record indicates Agassiz water was very fresh, cold, deep. Evidence for cool, wet conditions (i.e. no evap) #AMQUA
Teller: Carlson calculated annual water loss necessary to keep Agassiz form overflowing during YD: 11.9 - 18.8m evaporated each year. #AMQUA
Teller: However, Lowell and Fisher (lots of pubs) still contend that neither NW or E outlets of Lake Agassiz carried overflow. #AMQUA
