The picture shows the cover page of the first adventure module (M1) for ANDERS.
The background image has a greenish tint and shows part of a ruin under a dark, cloudy sky, while the small image in the lower left shows a howling wolf.
Below the usual header ("ANDERS - A Nimbly Designed Exciting Role-Playing System"), it reads:
"Adventures in the Boltern Wood" (in smaller print, the region in which the adventure takes place)
"Of Sheep and Wolves" (in large print, the adventure's title)
At the bottom, besides the image of the howling wolf, it continues with:
"An Adventure for Levels 1-3"
"By Stefan Giesen"

It's done!
The first adventure module for ANDERS, "Of Sheep and Wolves" is now available as a PDF on DriveThruRPG (the print-on-demand version will take a bit longer, since I first have to order a proof to make sure everything is correct)!

I've finished proof-reading the new adventure "Of Sheep and Wolves", and it should be available as a PDF on DriveThruRPG sometime next week (as soon as the staff at DriveThruRPG has checked it for PDF errors, and found it to be OK).

Just some more proof-reading to do, then the first "real" adventure for ANDERS, "Of Sheep and Wolves" is ready to be published.
I hope to be able to publish the PDF version sometime next week already (print-on-demand will take some more time to get a print proof first)!

Another good week of work! 🙂
I was able to finish most of the maps for the upcoming adventure "Of Sheep and Wolves", and I hope to finish the last one later today.
Once this is done, I intend to work on the NPC stat blocks, to be able to start writing the story next week.

It was a good week:
I prepared the print-on-demand PDF for "The Missing Merchant" and ordered my printed proof. I have started work on the first new adventure, (working title: "Of Sheep and Wolves"). I'll try a little bit different style for the battle maps with this one.

The cover of the introductory adventure.
It shows the ANDERS title lettering, followed by "A Nimbly Designed Exciting Role-Playing System".
The next line tells us that it is part of the "Adventures in the Boltern Woods", followed by the adventure's title "The Missing Merchant".
The background is a gloomy forest road (a somewhat wider path) in dark colours, with an orange tint.
On the bottom left, an image of an older bearded man is shown, with the text "An Introduction into ANDERS - by Stefan Giesen" besides it.

I'm still waiting for some quotes from some of the artist, but in the meantime, I have already finished the "Weapons Table" illustration for ANDERS' core rule book myself, and am now working on the "Armour and Shields" one in the same style.

I started to get quotes from different artists, and since I'm on a tight budget, it looks like the core rule book's art style is going to be a bit more simple.
Additionally, I decided to create some of the more "technical" illustrations myself, like e.g. these weapons.

A photo showing a table with 4 players smiling to the camera. On the table, in front of the GM screen on the right side of it, a coloured combat map can be seen with some unpainted miniatures, the group had just defeated the main enemy of the adventure (it was actually the main enemy of the first half of the full adventure, but since we only had 4 hours, I changed the introductory one-shot adventure a bit, with the second part — which is more of a "political puzzle" anyways, which could be solved with or without fighting — being solved through about 40 minutes of role-playing instead).
You can see a red-haired young girl on the left, two middle-aged men behind the table, and a younger man with long hair and glasses sitting in front of the table, his head turned about halfway to the camera.

I had a blast doing my 3 introductory sessions for ANDERS at hal-con.com! People playing it especially liked the combat and the magic system - one of them even said "I really like it, it is much better than the one from D&D — it's more authentic." (about the combat system).

A page from Appendix #2 (Monsters). It shows the stats and description of a Magical Homunculus. It starts like this:
Homunculus, magical
Tiny magical construct, size category 1, level 6
A magical homunculus is a tiny construct which looks like a tiny human with four insect-like wings. They are created by channeling magic into the physical world and then manifesting this magic into a mostly magical being. Similar to their alchemical counterpart, they are typically used as a tool to help with some simple tasks, or as spies and messengers. A magical homunculus is normally loyal to their creator, but can often be somewhat mischievous in its behavior. Because of their magical nature and appearance, they can be easily confused with smaller fairies.
