the whole idea of apex city started with a silly idea i had of incorporating brawler into a fighting game. it quickly became something 10x bigger

apex predator forms function like an ult in a fighting game, and my initial idea for B’s to balance it is for whoever directly talks to him first he “imprints” on and only listens to them in that form. idk im iffy on it

when i was making the [BIRD VS B] comic the original ending was supposed to be Slumber and Graph swooping in to save B and running off. this was also supposed to be Latte’s debut while pretending to be Nik’s (Nouscaster’s) assistant. scrapped due to time.

Zoura basically has immunity. being a pretty famous fashion designer comes with the perks of how every person with some sort of wealth has some sort of piece designed by you or your business partner, meaning they absolutely refuse to fight you to avoid being banned.

music is a huge part of the culture in Apex City, Hadal and Bathypelagic lean more towards 80s-90s Japanese city pop and rock while Haven is more 70s-80s jazz. music is such a huge part of culture that there are songs in the city *EVERYBODY* knows by heart

Hadal isnt a total disaster! The Nightmarket is a weekend merchant event where merchant shops flood the lantern-lit streets of Hadal, offering all sorts of handmade goods and snacks. Slumber sells her saliva here as a sleep aid, and B auctions off weapons hes made.

There is a whole sector of Bathypelagic dedicated to the Big 3! Showtime Town is like those themed areas in themeparks, filled to the brim with merch stores and themed restaurants. Along with this, the main Big 3 HQ is there too. its a short subway ride from Hadal.

The Sheep Pen is a Hadal Apex based bar owned by Azazel as a separate way to make some coin while busy with her graffiti protest movement. its a nice place with some good drinks, many chaos crew members are frequent customers.
