RCC was at #APMC13 last week. RCC Director Jake Carroll (@zebrax0r.bsky.social) was part of a closing panel discussing emerging solutions for managing large datasets.
Jake & RCC's Mark Endrei were also part of leading a pre-conf. workshop on microscopy data management, with #UQ as a test case.

Prof. Kelly Rogers delivers a wonderful tribute to Spencer Shorte at #APMC13 #ACMM28. Spencer Shorte was a huge advocate for core imaging facilities & has contributed enormously to the microscopy community around the world. He was known & well-respected by many @australianmms.bsky.social members.
Attended a talk by Kedar Narayan at the #APMC13 meeting and unexpectedly heard @zebrafish007.bsky.social in press paper mentioned. Itβs a small world.
