OK, this is GREAT. One world, multiple systems building it out. I went all the way back to the start and was pleased to see Quest on the table. This table were really fun in that, but when they switch mid story to Skeletons? They really ate with that one.

Went all the way back to S01E01 like a sicko.

Hugely likeable table who are more RP than G, if that’s something that might see your mileage vary. But I had a lot of fun. Props to the comedic timing of the music cutting abruptly when table talk intrudes. Wonderful stuff.

Decided to start at the beginning as my knowledge of MB is surface at best. I know a thing or two about solo AP and this solo AP is GREAT. Balances narrative with explaining the mechanics and - most importantly - talking through choices masterfully.

TL; DR:
Would I recommend The Bad Spot? Earnestly and encouragingly.
Biggest Strength: Matt himself. His talent is the reason to listen and engage.
Am I going to finish? Yes. I’m speeding through the episodes like reading a book on the beach in summer.

Warning: thread incoming. #APSwap In full disclosure: despite having listened to hundreds of hours of AP content spanning dozens of AP shows; before The Bad Spot I’ve never listened to a solo player AP show.

I’ve always wondered how it would work without the interplay and dialogue between a group.

Now this table has a super charming, easy chemistry that no doubt comes from playing together a lot. But it’s never clique-y and you’re made to feel like an old friend welcome to pull up a chair.

Great sound design on top, plus bonus marks for “were we being Raptured?”
