Importantly, Schabas represented #Myanmar at the #ICJ in 2019 alongside #ASSK. Many disliked him for that, in light of atrocities against #Rohingya. But he is a lawyer who adheres to a very (!) narrow definition of #genocide. This is why his stance rgd #Israel, #Germany now is noteworthy - see ⬇️
