One thing I appreciated abt Dr. Cole's talk during the #AUPresses2025 plenary is his acknowledgment that some forms of "promotion"--i.e. public sharing of expertise--just won't be available to all: an op-ed in NYT, a guest-spot on TV. BUT, for better and/or for worse, everyone CAN use social media.
