While the scoreline suggests a blowout, #AUSvIDN did not seem like it. However, it was an interesting tactical battle between one team who were clinical in front of goal and discipline out of possession, and the other who struggled to make the most of their possession dominance.
Currently writing a Notebook for the #AUSvIDN match so I'll explain more there, but...
#Indonesia press was bad. They weren't aggressive enough to stop the #Socceroos from playing out of the press, especially the midfielders. That left the back five vulnerable to direct runs from the #Socceroos.

Funnily enough, this #AUSvIDN match happened in the exact opposite way compared to the first match. #Socceroos also had sort of a U-shaped when both teams first met in the current Qualifiers. Couldn't do anything with the ball against a mid-block. Only difference was, the #Socceroos could attack.
Have a lot of thoughts about the #Socceroos, Indonesia, and the #AUSvIDN match. But since OptaJason don't post passing networks, I'll just let this Indonesia's passing network captures my thoughts for now...until I can sit down and write a Notebook about the match.
