This was a originally a photo taken of a couple touring Williams, AZ in an old classic car. I changed them to look old and went looking in my photo files to find a picture with a person with their hands thrown up in the air with glee. The hands up like a person on a rollercoaster ride was the key expression I wanted in this slice of life painting. The lady is expressing sheer joy at being out on an adventure. No matter what our age taking joy in the journey is part of the destination.
