One of 2018's more surprising special elections came in #AZ08 in the western suburbs of Phoenix.

Usually a solidly Republican district, Republican Debbie Lesko only won this Trump+21 district by five points over Democratic nurse Hiral Tipirneni.

First map of 2025! Last year in #AZ08, we saw Abe Hamadeh keep this suburban Phoenix seat red by defeating Democrat Greg Whitten by about 13 points.

After surviving a brutal primary, Hamadeh actually ended up underperforming Trump, who carried this district by 16.
