This meme is way more accurate than anyone realizes.

Headline reads: $250 million in unpaid oil and gas property taxes likely unrecoverable: Alberta government
Part of the article reads: New joint report includes 17 recommendations for recovering taxes from companies in the future. Alberta's government - along with the Rural Municipalities of Alberta, and the province's energy regulator - say they want to crack down on oil and gas companies that don't pay their property taxes. However, while new recommendations are aimed at curbing future instances of unpaid taxes by oil and gas companies, the province said $250 million of unpaid taxes incurred over the years is likely uncrecoverable.

As the party of fiscal responsibility the UCP is working hard every day to make life more affordable for struggling oil & gas companies earning billions in profits during an oil boom by letting them skip out on muni taxes!

Alberta's oilpatch cut 10,000 jobs last year — even as production soared The province produced about 122 million barrels of oil in 2011. Last year, Alberta produced nearly 1.4 billion barrels of oil by November.

Wonder how oil workers feel about the "Alberta Advantage" as they look for new jobs and the companies they worked for proudly boast record production levels.

Keep blaming Ottawa!
Keep voting conservative!

For too long Ottawa has kept Alberta under its boot and kept us from producing more of the energy the world needs.

This graph shows exactly how federal government regulations have affected our production and economy!

Alberta needs to separate!

Canadian heavy oil price falls, selling at largest discount in 18 months | CBC News Canadian heavy oil prices are plunging this week following the upheaval in Venezuela over the weekend and the prospect of more Venezuelan oil imports to the United States.

Good thing my UCP Finance Minister banked on low oil prices when we created the budget so this wouldn't impact Albertans.

Oh wait. We didn't do that. Nor did we diversify the economy to handle drops in prices either.

So, one of the UCP's recent threats was that if we don't build them ANOTHER pipeline to the west coast, they're going to start shipping Alberta oil to the Puget Sound via the US where it can be loaded on tankers to the far east. I have questions. 1/who knows?

The last ten years of Trudeau's Liberals had a devastating impact on Alberta's economy.

Can we really afford another 4 years of Carney's Liberals?
