NWMP/RCMP were created to murder Indigenous Peoples to clear the prairies for settlers, and killing to uphold white supremacy culture remains their core function. Canada was founded as a police state.

The NWMP/RCMP were created to kill or otherwise clear Indigenous Peoples from their Lands. Police in eastern Canada were created as slave catchers. Racist violence still forms the core of policing, and reform has never worked. #AbolishTheRCMP
