#AbramGames animated Television Symbol, known as the "bat's wings", was introduced on BBC television. There were many regional variations & it also inspired a clock, which featured a simplified Bat's Wings design
The design lasted until 1961.

Alongside the ethical concerns this always raises of advertising budgets not being used to pay professional #Illustrators - for me it also detracts from the great history of 🖼️ #Poster #Illustration (by #AbramGames, #NormanWilkinson, #CharlesPears, #FrankSherwin et al.) we have in this country. 🤔
