Alright, now we're going to be getting things done today!

The first thing on the list is doing another edit for #AceCupid 's script. I'm reading it over to make sure that it makes sense, dialogue isn't clunky, and the descriptions are on point. I don't wanna prolong sending it off much longer.

The last thing I need to do for #AceCupid is make sure the script itself is solid. I'll work on editing it and doing a read-over later on today. I'm still in shock that it's actually done.

The closer I get to finishing the script for #AceCupid, the more I'm wondering whether any of this makes sense. It's a rough draft though and it demands to be finsihed - so I guess I have to listen to that feeling first.

I figured out what I wanted to do for the plotline and managed to dwindle it down somewhat to fit within the requirements for the anthology. Now, the biggest hurdle for every #writer has come - drafting.

Right now, I’m developing a comic script for #AceCupid, my submission to the Asexual and Aromantic Anthology.

So, #AceCupid fans,

I let the plot outline sit for a little bit and I'm not satisfied with it, so we're going to take it and refurbish it into something else. I somewhat want to push the boundaries with what I'm working on - technically this is already modern fantasy, but I want something more

Alright, the plot outline for #AceCupid is put together. Next is figuring out the dialogue. Then we'll be plugging it in with the exposition into the comic script.

Knows that isn't the case for everyone but usually spends her vacation time with "lonely" people, spreading holiday cheer. Claims to be on Santa's "forever-nice" list because of the built-up karma. - Is in favor of people finding their idea of love, and purposefully allows herself to "sync" with her current client to show the effect that love in all its forms have on a person.

Ace was actually the first character to come to me, even before Monae. I wasn't sure what they looked like but with a little encouragement from @hopelessromantics.bsky.social, I figured out a lot about them.

Not particularly worried about the idea of "dying" alone, but is somewhat unnerved by how "important" a relationship is deemed. - She wants to find someone only so that it will lessen her parents' worries about her in the future, but doesn't believe that she should have to live her life being taken care of. Is hyper-independent in some ways but is slowly learning how to let other people help her. - She is skeptical of Ace and their abilities, but is grasping at straws to keep from "blowing up" at the next family function.

Details on the main character of #AceCupid, Ms. Monae "Momo" Coffey!

She came to me at while I was listening to The Cab. The music inspired her favorite song-type which is Electronica! The song that she popped up in is Angel with a Shotgun.

Thus far while seeing the two main characters interact - I wonder how their story will end. I love how characters tend to gravitate aimlessly but eventually they began to fall into each other's orbit.

So, #AceCupid is going to take place during Fall and with the tentative start/end - let's go!

The longer I think about it, the main character of #AceCupid is someone I’ve been wanting to write for awhile. Just the general feeling of being exhausted with the world and its perceptions while trying to maintain a semblance of social acceptance is hard for anyone.

Imagine if you were visited by one of the embodiments of love who told you that you were fine just the way you are. Also imagine that they came to you in the form of the person who you love most. And that person was someone you have no romantic feelings for.
