It causes A LOT of tension between them. Achi gets SO MAD that Patro chooses to "hide their real self" and Patro gets really upset that Achi refuses to accept how they present themself. They don't relate to their beastial DNA at all. In their mind they're just a "regular" person.

Patroclus and Achilles are actually "failed" experiments in mixing Ancient and Beast DNA/Souls. Unlike Achi, Patro hates how they naturally look. They hate being different and standing out. So they basically spend all their time transfigured to be, well, "normal".
