After working on retro shaders for a while it's now time to build actual content - modeling low poly environments is not much of a problem anymore but I didn't expect that texturing would be such a hurdle for me. Well, let's go, I guess. (ร_ร)

Curvature and CRT overlays incoming.
The CRT overlays will match the aspect ratio of the internal low-res image. You can stretch it for further adjustment. This should be sufficient for creating some nice looking CRT-presets.

Video compression probably will mess this up quite a bit but I still wanna share it. I've implemented a 2nd shader pass for full-res post processing on top of the upscaled low-res image. For the beginning, it will feature a CRT like shader. Commiting in a few minutes.

I did this before in Unity.
The first Tomb Raider games featured beautiful water caustics, achieved by manipulating vertex colors. It's one of my favorite PS1 graphics tricks. I just re-created it in a modern engine.

I've finally updated my #FlaxEngine build and added Gourard Shading aka. Vertex Lighting to my game.
Obviously a popular choice for retro-styled games, but IMHO still interesting for modern projects due to its low performance costs.
