It felt a bit drawn out and overly complicated, pointing blinking neon arrows at the two men WHO LIKE EACH OTHER BUT WHO ARE FROM VERY DIFFERENT BACKGROUNDS AND THERE’S A LOT TO THINK ABOUT OKAY??!!11 They figured it out in the last chapters only to fall into a cliffhanger (literally), so we’ll see what happens in the last book. Just like book 1, this was super simple language–not a bad thing...

Adam is a hot mess of daddy issues, mommy issues, brother issues, ex issues, all sorts of issues. For some reason, he reminded me a LOT of Dean Winchester.
