As a community of support organizations, we're urging our leaders to stand with survivors through investment in prevention, services, & long-term safety for ALL members of our communities!

#AdvocacyDays may be over, but our work to support SC’s survivors of domestic & sexual violence continues. Thank you to the Members of Congress & their staff who listened as we shared the critical need for increased federal funding to help our member organizations meet the urgent needs of survivors.

Policy Director, Sanu Dieng-Cooper, spent #AdvocacyDays on the Hill urging @bobbyscott.house.gov, @mcclellan.house.gov, Rep. Rob Wittman, @kaine.senate.gov, and @markwarner.bsky.social to support survivors. Grateful for meaningful convos. The need is urgent—survivors can’t wait. Neither can we.

SCCADVASA is in DC joining the National Alliance to End Sexual Violence & the National Network to End Domestic Violence for #AdvocacyDays & speaking with SC Congressional Delegation mbrs on the importance of federal funding to support our member orgs & the lifesaving services they provide survivors.

We're in DC for #AdvocacyDays with @nnedv.bsky.social, NAESV, & others from the movement to fight for survivors. #VOCA funds over 6,000 programs & 6M+ survivors yearly—but it's at risk. Congress must:
✅ Increase VOCA in FY26
✅ Protect tribal set-aside
✅ Use funds as intended
