International Union of Tenants wants EU to set ceiling of max 20% of household income spent on housing as treshold for a dwelling to be considered "affordable".

Would make sense for poorest people such as those on minimum incomes. But as a general measure?!

It seems normal now on European debate platforms to say that EU State Aid rules are a problem and hinder Member States to tackle the housing crisis.

But are they?! And if they are, what needs to change?!
