Proof of concept! Dry tintype on 35mm film cartridge!

This is so neat. Shot on the Benson Instant Box Camera

I was hoping to avoid the step, but the cartridges will definitely need a subbing layer, because the emulsion is clearly not adhering well. 😅😅

Best #InstantBoxCam test yet, to go with a new haircut. Shot by my daughter in the evening light. Wide open, f4.5, 1s, rated at 6.

Graded (#2) paper makes a pretty big difference in contrast.

Ready to try out in the world again this weekend, maybe.

Framing / focusing on a house using a box camera.

Taking a photo of a negative image with an instant box camera.

Test photos on top of a wooden box camera.

Rinsing a black and white photo of a house in a bowl of water.

Struggling to take some #AfghanBoxCamera photos using mystery photo paper from Ultrafine. Getting eaten up by mosquitos and over exposing everything. Had a much easier go using Harmon positive.
