A couple of years ago a friend sent a picture of what she'd just seen: my book #AfricanEuropeans at the entrance of the library of this great museum right under the portrait of Dr King. I was incredibly touched!

Monday, I’ll be teaching my first travel course - The African Diaspora in Western Europe. For 10 we will travel to London, Paris, and Madrid. We’ll be studying with locals about their lived experiences and histories.
