The Vision for Adapted Crops and Soils (VACS) launched in Feb 2023 by the US State Dept in partnership with @africanunion.bsky.social, #AgMIP, @fao.org, and the African Orphan Crops Consortium. Phase 1 identified a list of nutritious and regionally relevant opportunity crops in five categories.
A new #AgMIP paper in Nature Climate Change presents a novel framework for integrating nutrient dynamics into crop models, offering key insights into targeting and strengthening nutrition interventions in a changing climate.

The 2025 EAT-Lancet report has officially launched!
