An imperfect 13x13 grid of mainly hollow hand-drawn squares with hues from a limited palette (blue/ochre) of acrylic inks. Each square was produced using a dropper, loaded with a different ink mix of varying dilutions, producing a range of hues and saturations. Some squares join or bleed into their neighbour. The whole exercise of repetitive actions with subtlely different outcomes is highly meditative and calming, and was inspired by a video by Corey D'Augustine.
