Welome to #RockinTuesday. On a recent visit to #RapaNui, AKA #EasterIsland we visited #AhuTongariki a group of 15 Moai statues. All of these Moai are over 6 meters tall and were carved from volcanic tuff at a quarry about 4 km away. The second photo is of two Moai that were never completed.

I have long been intrigued by Rapa Nui. На второй день утром поехал встречать рассвет у Ahu Tongariki (самое популярное место для встречи рассвета). Тоже как-то не особо - в какой-то момент окружающие горы и облака над ними выглядели симпатичнее, чем моаи.
