MP Book Reviews on Instagram: "Review: Quiad by Aja Foxx 4 of 5 stars Quaid is a quiet carpenter still haunted by his military past, and Levi is a foster kid who finally finds real safety with the McKenzie family. A connection grows between them from the moment Levi arrives, though Quaid keeps his distance until Levi is older. Just as Levi begins to feel secure and hopes for something more with Quaid, his estranged mother suddenly returns claiming to be terminally ill, stirring confusion, old wounds, and doubts about her true motives. This story is packed with emotion, and the connection between Quaid and Levi is undeniable from the start. Their bond grows slowly and beautifully, rooted in trust, safety, and the kind of love that feels both steady and hard‑won. Levi’s history with his mother is heartbreaking — years of abandonment, manipulation, and confusion — and when she reappears, it threatens to unravel the fragile security he’s finally found. Watching Quaid and the entire McKenzie clan step up to protect him, without hesitation or condition, is one of the most powerful parts of the book. Their loyalty gives Levi the family he’s always deserved. The emotions in this story are well‑described and easy to feel, from Levi’s fear of being unwanted to Quaid’s quiet, unwavering devotion. A tender, deeply felt romance about healing, belonging, and finding love in the safest possible place. This was an MM story with mature content. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0GR1S18BQ" 0 likes, 0 comments - mp_book_reviews on March 22, 2026: "Review: Quiad by Aja Foxx 4 of 5 stars Quaid is a quiet carpenter still haunted by his military past, and Levi is a foster kid who finally finds real safety with the McKenzie family. MP Book Reviews on Instagram: "Review: Ransom by Aja Foxx 5 of 5 stars Ransom is a rebellious biker who’s always clashed with Sheriff Floyd Hardesty, even as an undeniable attraction grows between them. One passionate night finally brings their tension to a boil, but Floyd insists on keeping things secret to protect his career. Ransom refuses to stay hidden and walks away—until he learns Floyd has been hurt and rushes back. Floyd, dedicated to the law and still struggling with his sexuality after a messy divorce, is just as drawn to Ransom despite their differences. Working together on a string of break‑ins pushes them closer, but his fear of going public drives them apart. Only when Ransom leaves does Floyd realise that claiming the man he loves matters more than protecting his image. This story is full of big emotions as Ransom and Floyd wrestle with their feelings, their fears, and the very real stakes of taking their relationship public. Their push‑and‑pull is intense and heartfelt, and the book doesn’t shy away from the messy, complicated issues they face — from internal doubts to external pressures. I really appreciated how clearly everything was written; the emotional beats are easy to follow and easy to feel. Even when the characters are at odds, the depth of their connection comes through, making their journey toward honesty and openness satisfying to watch unfold. A strong, emotional romance with plenty of heart. This was an MM story with mature content. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0GNLCBQ89" 0 likes, 0 comments - mp_book_reviews on March 18, 2026: "Review: Ransom by Aja Foxx 5 of 5 stars Ransom is a rebellious biker who’s always clashed with Sheriff Floyd Hardesty, even as an undeniable attraction grows between them. MP Book Reviews on Instagram: "Review: Harlow by Aja Foxx 4 of 5 stars Harlow, the gentle giant of McKenzie River, has spent his life underestimated and overprotected, even as he quietly longs for Deputy Daniel Latham. Daniel, escaping his own controlling parents, is instantly drawn to Harlow despite warnings about his reputation. When Daniel is injured on a call, Harlow finds him, carries him to safety, and cares for him, deepening the bond between them. As their attraction grows, they must navigate Harlow’s protective family and the dangerous case Daniel is working, hoping they can earn a chance at a future together. The connection between Harlow and Daniel is impossible to miss — gentle, steady, and growing stronger every time life throws something new at them. Their biggest battle isn’t with each other but with the world around them, especially Harlow’s fiercely protective family, who struggle to accept that someone new might love him just as deeply as they do. Watching the two men fight for the right to be together gives the story a heartfelt emotional core. Layered into their romance is the danger surrounding Daniel’s ongoing case, which slowly tightens around them until both men — and the McKenzie family — are pulled into the centre of the action. The mix of tenderness, tension, and genuine affection makes their journey gripping and full of feeling, and seeing them stand together through it all is incredibly satisfying. MP Book Reviews on Instagram: "Review: Inheriting The Mafia by Aja Foxx 5 of 5 stars They were dead, all dead, an entire mafia family except Anthony. The bastard son of mafia boss Anthony D'Angelo, and that made him the new head of the family. But inheriting the mafia is not all it's cracked up to be. People want him dead. Vito is the underboss of a mafia family and when they were all taken out in a bombing, he wanted revenge. Before he could do that, he needed to track down the illegitimate son of his boss, a man he never knew about until now. He wasn't sure what to think of Tony when he found him, but he did know he had to keep him alive. He was the head of the family now and he was duty bound to serve him. He just wished he wasn't so attracted to him. I loved this story with the mystery of who killed the family, who was trying to kill Tony while causing war between families mixed with the relationship between Tony and Vito. I loved this tie in with the Mafia Mayhem series families which added an anti gay slant on the story too. Lots of emotions and feelings in this story as past events as well as the future were analysed. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0DHL96VHX/" 0 likes, 0 comments - mp_book_reviews on March 1, 2026: "Review: Inheriting The Mafia by Aja Foxx 5 of 5 stars They were dead, all dead, an entire mafia family except Anthony. MP Book Reviews on Instagram: "Review: Magic Mischief by Aja Foxx 4 of 5 stars In a paranormal world on the brink of war, Nicolai begins to question whether he’s truly on the right side. Ordered to capture a mysterious man at any cost, everything changes when he discovers that the target — Mishka — is actually his fated mate. Protecting him suddenly matters more than any command. Mishka has spent most of his life running from people who want to exploit his rare abilities. When Nicolai, a powerful mob boss, offers him safety, he’s torn between fear and an inexplicable pull toward the dangerous man. Both are hiding secrets, both are drawn to each other, and both must decide whether trust — and fate — can outweigh the danger closing in around them. This story delivers a delicious mix of danger, destiny, and attitude. Nicolai and Mishka’s mate bond crackles from the moment they collide, adding an irresistible layer of tension to a plot already thick with shifting loyalties, and the looming threat of paranormal war. Nicolai’s struggle between duty and instinct keeps the stakes high, while Mishka’s sharp tongue and wary sass bring a spark to every interaction. Their connection feels fated yet volatile — two men drawn together even as secrets, enemies, and their own mistrust threaten to pull them apart. If you enjoy high‑risk paranormal romance with a fierce mate bond and a sassy, defiant love interest who refuses to go quietly, this one hits all the right notes. MP Book Reviews on Instagram: "Review: The Oyabun's Boy by Aja Foxx 5 of 5 stars Kenji’s life is steeped in darkness until the moment he sees Joy dancing in the rain — a moment that sparks fascination, then obsession. Joy becomes the light Kenji never expected, and he’ll do anything to protect that brightness, even if it means unleashing the dangerous side of his mafia world on anyone who threatens him. Joy, raised by a loving mother and surrounded by the warmth of their cat café, lives life with optimism despite a difficult father. When Kenji, a powerful mafia man, becomes fixated on him, Joy knows he should be afraid. Instead, he finds unexpected safety in Kenji’s arms, especially as chaos begins closing in around him. Their story is one of obsession, protection, and unlikely comfort — a dark man willing to burn the world down for the one person who brings him light, and a gentle soul who discovers that sometimes the safest place is with the most dangerous man. I loved this story which blended dark obsession with surprising tenderness in a way that’s genuinely compelling. Kenji is a dangerous man whose world is built on violence and power, yet the moment he sees Joy, everything shifts — and the threats closing in on them both feel sharp and real. What really stands out, though, is how the book flips expectations: Joy may be soft, bright, and gentle, but he’s far from fragile. His quiet resilience becomes its own kind of strength, the one thing even a mafia enforcer can’t control or contain. The contrast between Kenji’s ruthless protectiveness and Joy’s steady, luminous courage gives the romance its emotional punch. Their connection feels like two very different kinds of power colliding — one forged in darkness, the other in light — and the danger surrounding them only makes that bond more intense. A gripping, unexpectedly tender romance about the strength hidden in gentle souls and the lengths someone will go to protect the person who brings them hope. This was an MM story with mature content. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0G95TH44Q" 0 likes, 0 comments - mp_book_reviews on January 23, 2026: "Review: The Oyabun's Boy by Aja Foxx 5 of 5 stars Kenji’s life is steeped in darkness until the moment he sees Joy dancing in the rain — a moment that sparks fascination, then obsession.
